English hyphenation XTension, formally known as Euro Hyphenator XT, offers the user at least 49 hyphenation modules, including Russian, Greek, Turkish, Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Melayu and the Central European languages. The number of languages now supported far outreaches the borders of Europe, hence the name change. The new version is already fully compatible with QuarkXpress 7.0, both on the Macintosh and windows. English Hyphenator XT was developed to optimize hyphenation of a great number of languages. As a result, QuarkXpress users no longer have to master a language, in order to correctly hyphenate it. English Hyphenator XT uses the intelligent syllable technology from language source. General unifying structures for syllabification are completed with linguistic patterns. Each language module acts like a comparator which possesses an almost human understanding of the target language with its own linguistic pattern. The manufacture has implemented this technology into their software modules, as a result of which the accuracy is of the highest level. It inserts hyphens, whilst keeping the text flow comprehensible. Please note this software is only available as a download.
